Summary
No account is needed. Your receipts and expense data stay on your device and are never uploaded to us. The app uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for diagnostics, Google AdMob for ads, and Google Play Billing for the optional Pro upgrade.
1. Data stored on your device
- Receipt images, PDFs, expense entries (amounts, categories, statuses, notes), budgets and settings are stored locally on your device.
- We do not have access to this data and do not receive copies of it.
- Exported PDF reports and CSV files are saved or shared only where you choose.
2. Camera
The app asks for camera access only when you scan a receipt. Images are processed on your device. You can revoke the permission at any time in system settings.
3. Notifications
Notifications are optional. If you enable the weekly reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device; no data is sent to a server for this.
4. Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. They may collect app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics and device identifiers. This data does not include your receipts or expense entries.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads).
6. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The optional Pro upgrade is offered as monthly, quarterly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details.
7. No account, no selling of data
The app has no sign-in. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Retention and deletion
Your receipts and expenses exist only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them. For questions about diagnostic data, email us.

We may update this policy; the new version and effective date will be posted on this page.
